Groof
Groof’s all about being known for top-notch dog bathing and grooming. It aims to offer pet owners an easy and efficient way to book services online, while also ensuring every pet gets plenty of care and expert attention.

Problem
Users face difficulties when searching for reliable grooming services online. It’s common to find businesses with few or negative reviews, no photos of the location or service results, and incomplete descriptions of services and their prices. A weak online presence, with outdated or nonexistent social media profiles, creates insecurity and makes decision-making harder. Additionally, booking appointments is often slow and inefficient, frustrating users who expect a quicker, more streamlined process.
Solution
Groof aims to become a reference in dog grooming and bathing services by offering a personalized user-centered experience for pet owners. The platform is designed to address key usability pain points by structuring content in a clear and accessible manner. Information about services, professionals, pricing, scheduling, and availability will be centralized and intuitively organized, reducing cognitive load and minimizing the need for external contact. This approach enhances user trust, streamlines decision-making, and supports a seamless end-to-end booking experience.
Discovery
Research
A preliminary study was conducted with four participants, all of whom are dog owners. The research combined both quantitative and qualitative questions to explore user habits and perceptions regarding grooming services. Here are some other key takeaways:
